Random Facts and Trivia:

• Kendrick was born on the 18th of the month. Just like Meredith, and just like Aja. We now have THREE kids who celebrate their birthdays on the 18th. How cool is that?
• He was born at home, without ANY drugs. (An organic baby!) Rachel labored for 27 hours, and pushed for about 5 minutes. Jessica Nipp, our midwife was a fabulous help, supporting us in the gentle, natural process of homebirth. Birth is not scary or intimidating–it’s great!
• He was delivered/”caught” by his dad. (Me!)
• There’s a guitar amplifier company called “Kendrick Amplifiers.” How cool is that? WAY COOL!
• Kendrick is my first son, the first grandson to his grandpa, and the first great grandson to his great-grandpa. He has 4 aunts and 4 uncles on my side, and 3 aunts on Rachel’s side of the family.

At 3:25pm on Sunday, 10/18/09 Ron & Rachel Stauffer welcomed Kendrick Rush Stauffer into the family!

Kendrick is doing very well.

Ron is overjoyed by now having a son!

Rachel will be taking the next three years off to sleep.

Aja and Meredith don’t know they have a brother yet.
